Plzeňský Prazdroj is a prominent producer and exporter of Czech beer that is made in four breweries: Plzeňský Prazdroj and Gambrinus in Plzeň, Radegast in Nošovice and Velké Popovice in Central Bohemia. Plzeňský Prazdroj exports beer to more than fifty countries of the world. Brewers in Plzeňský Prazdroj brew traditional Czech beers: Pilsner Urquell, Gambrinus, Radegast and Velkopopovický Kozel as well as Primus and Klasik, special beer Master and Fénix and non-alcoholic and fruit beers.

PEKAŘI a spol., spol. s r.o. is a company that deals with the production of baked goods and their delivery to the shops of their business partners in Ostrava and neighbouring districts of Karviná, Opava and Frýdek-Místek. The industrial bakery is located at Porubská Street. The company acquired the bakery at the beginning of 1996 during a privatization of the state-owned enterprise called Pekárny Ostrava.

The bakery is one of the traditional producers on the market with baked products, particularly in the area of everyday and fine baked goods. The production at Porubská Street started in 1960 and the full production capacity was reached in 1961.
